I've had a 92 mustang lx 4cyl auto for years now and it time for a 302 I found a 85 Lincoln Mark VII with a great working drive train really cheap but a friend of mine offered to give me a 351 freebie im sure the 302 would be much simpler since i'll have a whole doner car but I would kinda like to know how much simpler. being that i am new to swapping motors i'll trust you alls judgment. im not really looking to built an insane street machine but I would be happy if it could out run my dodge neon lol and if i posted this in the wrong spot sorry i couldnt figure out were to post it.

lol. 351 is essentially the same block with a taller deck height. so pretty much everything that'll bolt to a 302 will bolt up to the 351. if you do decide to go with a 351, the parts that i know you will have to change out specifically for a 351 are the dizzy, oil pan and headers. i'm pretty sure you'll have to get a cowl hood too. someone else who's more knowledgeable in this will chime in im sure.

Also the harmonic balancer and flywheel/flexplate if the engine don't come with it.
