The door handles were modeled on the 74? Corvette. The tricky bit is hinging the handle which simply follows the body contour. It is connected by a rod to the stock door latch. Unfortunately I do not have a pic of the underside of the handle.

I made the intake because i could not buy a symmetrical one to fit a Windsor anywhere. Several manufacturers make them for Chevs - why not for Fords ?! It was a complex job and I don't intend to make another one.

Dana 44 ? that's a diff is'nt it - my diff is from a 95 Jaguar XJS (changed the orig 2.88 ratio to a 3.54)

Marshall... I have been wondering where you went. I have been waiting to see that car for a long long time. I remember when you were installing those door handles, building the tank and cutting up that interior to narrow it. Amazing car and you definately deserve to be on the cover of the magazine.

Question, what are the side view mirrors from and how were they mounted? It appears you went thru the vent window.

Reflective lens for the tail light panel source?

I'm very interested in the coil pack installation with the crank trigger, but I don't intend on running EFI, do the coil packs run in conjunction with the EFI computer?

you can run coilpacks with a crank trigger. LS1 guys do it with a carb motors.

Thanks for the complements.....Questions in order.....
The mirrors are from a Ford Laser, don't know if you get an equilavent Ford in the US. The same mirroes are also on a Mazda in Australia. Just look for a mirror that you feel is the right size and shape.. it does not matter what vehicle it is from, it will have to be cut & shut to make it fit. I did not want to attach mine to the door panel so it bolts between the glass and bottom frame of the vent window.

I will post a separate pic of the reversed hood latches. I did it this way 'cause I did not want to see the wires and pins.

The reflective lenz is made from a plastic ceiling light diffuser covered in a red translucent plastic film bought from a company that makes illuminated signs. A bank of Hella LEDs as you see on trucks sits behind.

They look fabulous at night.

Coil packs require an EEC (each coil is specific to one cylinder) however a distributor can be replaced with a crank trigger on carby engines. look up MSD for crank trigger kits. (or Ford Explorers with 302W which were also fitted to Aussie Falcons)

The power rack is an RRS unit, column deffinately on the right side. (RRS sell left hand ones in the US)

The hole in this pin is sideways because it is not finally tightened, the pin goes thru the hole where the rubber hood stops were and a pin is inserted thru the grille to lock the hood down.

what are those shock covers? they look perty.. i'de be interested in some o dem.

The covers are polished stainless flanged rings with a rubber grommet. To fit them one must get rid of the stock shock support. The RRS struts eliminate the shock support.
