m2300k ebrake woes

Hey,
Doing the last several steps in a 5 lug swap and I noticed that on http://www.mustangcentral.net/tech/brake.html it says that the welding should be done on the 2nd from bottom tooth, but the example pic http://www.mustangcentral.net/tech/PBHANDLE.JPG shows the 3rd. Does anyone know which one is correct?

I did it on the third as the pic shows, haven't intalled it yet though.....does that Pawl have to be welded to the handle? I just cut it as the instructions say...
