MAC Prochamber w/ Cats

Hey guys, I was wondering, if anyone found the new MAC Prochamber with CATS for a decent price on the internet? Also what do you'll think about. Has anyone heard if still gives you the same great "bang for the buck" rear wheel hp gain as the off road versiondid. Obviously it won't show as much gain beacuse it has cats but you know what I mean. Thanks, hope to hear some good input.

I got teh catted prochamber for 313 from parts shopper! Its great! nice sound and i dont need mil eliminators! so that is some money saved!! I'll have sound clips soon and i could really tell a difference with the catted prochamber vs the stock h.

I got mine directly from MAC just because I wanted them "right now" but they sound great, I do have some clips I'll have to dig up, but the clips dont do it justice.

You do realize that for the price you paid for the catted Pro-Chamber you could have gotten the off-road version and two sets of MIL eliminators right?

Unless you live in a state that requires emission testing don't spend the extra money on the catted Pro-Chamber. The CEL on my 04 did not come on for a little over three months and that's no big deal because if you get a chip you can turn those sensors off.

Personally I went with the off-road version because of a couple of reasons:

1) Pro-Chamber is not the loudest midpipe but it's probably the deepest and most aggressive sounding.

2) the sound. the MAC setup is the only one that I have ever gotten compliments from ford/chevy and ricers.

A nice bonus is being able to go though parking decks and set off car alarms without trying. I set off two or three every time I go to the mall without even trying.

I've been hearing that the cated is much quieter. How quiet is quiet, i really want cats but I don't want to spend $400 and get no sound what so ever out of the Prochamber. Tell me what you think?

did my sound clips not work? Its quieter than the non catted, but it howls more up top. Remember I have stock cat back just welded in flows, when I open up the pipes some it should get louder

maybe he means mil extenders like some midpipes require?

Your sound clips worked fine but my thread on modular depot has gotten a lot of responses with people saying it's pretty quiet. I know it's going to be softer than the o/r version but I just want there to be a deep tone throughout my rpm band. I have the 2 1/2 inch American Thunder Catback System, what are your thoughts on the sound of this combo? (Catted ProChamber+American Thunder Catback)

I've had my MAC prochamber and catbacks for several weeks; I've got a vert so I didn't go for the loudest option, but love 'em. I've got cats, but 2 is a big difference then the stock 4..... Had to have 'em put on in the shop though, there were a few tach welds needed to get the catbacks to stay sitting properly...

Theres a nice deep rumble from 1200-4200 then it starts to scream/howl like an X, its not that quiet at all when WoT. I'm trying to get a clip from the rear, but my cameras MIC isnt being cooperative, the sound from the pipes even makes the picture fuzzy :p I'll figure something out, trying to find a digital video camera to record it.

No I'm saying that he could have one set of MIL eliminators go bad and then buy a second set and still come out cheaper than buying the catted Pro-Chamber,

As for mil extenders, you will be required to get them for your car if you get the Pro-Chamber.

That would be great if you could get me a sound clip from the outside, I look forward to hearing it, if its possible to record. Thanks a bunch.

We have emissions one county north of us and I don’t know if it'll come south to my county. Plus, if I have cats, my dealership will not void my warranty :) Also, I might be afraid of making my stingers a bit too loud for my neighbors. They already complain about it in the morning. Therefore I did like the idea of possibly waking up to a brick in my windshield or something other like that... All around... I feel like I made the right choice for my situation.
