I think as long as your car doesn't throw an emission code then you will pass. So as long as your car says your fine then you'll pass. Either MIL eliminators or a Diablosport predator will do the trick.

Just kinda a "whooshing" sound when the motor was pulling hard. That resonator-box thing is below the center console, my Pro 5.0 shifter allows a lot more noise into the cabin than the stock shifter. Been in Mustangs with various manufacturers X- and H- pipes and nothing else made that sound .

The diablosport predator has an option to turn off the rear o2 sensors and tells your car the exhaust is running fine, which is essentially what the MIL eliminators do. So if you are looking at getting a programer you might want to consider the diablosport predator. Partshopper has them for $360 and at www.rpmoutlet.com you can get for $375 w/ free next day shipping and free 180 or 160 degree thermostat.

With the prochamber, if you get on it at really low RPM's it makes a "whooshing" sound, it almost sounds like water spraying into the chamber, I always loved that sound and thought it sucked that it only makes it at very low RPM's.

I have a prochamber and it is the best sounding midpipe that I have heard. I just recently passed emissions with mine and I have steeda mils. The shop did not look under the car for any cats so that may have helped.

flowmaster. you'll love it.

Unfortunatelly i heared that is not true.
Mill eliminators fool the computer by sending a constand NOT READY signal... If they plug into the obd port, thats what they will get...sensors not ready... and that will fail your emissions....

I always thought that was the case too. I read a reply a couple weeks ago where someone said they had passed that kind of plug in test b/c of the MIL eliminators, but I don't know for sure.

i just installed the prochamber this morning. it sounds awsome. the only thing i cant stand at the moment is the smell of the the pipes paint breaking in. i cant wait to try it out on the open highway tonight. the poping seems to have gone away. and it has a very nice deep idle. the pro chamber and loudmouth are an awsome combo.

Yeah that break in smell is nasty. Just drive it like you hate it you'll get rid of it.

the one thing i didnt like about the install was there wernt enuff nuts and the hardware provided sucks! had to end up using the nuts and bolts from the stock h pipe for the chamber to catback connection. so far the smell has been going away and it sounds like a bat out of hell when i get on it. im loving the ways its idling too...

Was it a PITA to do the swap? I know I'm gonna need jackstands and I have a 62pc toolset with extensions and I'm hoping that's all I need.

it was a simple swap (had a lift) . the only PITA was the 02 sensor on the driverside tranny.

some tips:
in addition to the extensions get the swivel attachment
use anti seize for the o2 sensors apply just on the threads only.
make sure to have another jack handy to hold the chamber in place and lift up if needbe.
tighten down the passenger side first. make sure the gasket is in place.
then when you tighten everything else do it in equal increments so if anything moves you can adjust it be before its really tightend down.
make sure that the chamber is level.
they driver side is tricky since the flange is a loose one, unlike the passenger side.
also there is another flange, a loose one(small piece). make sure thats inserted in the manifold to pipe connection on the driver side

also use the old h-pipe to catback hardware bolts and nuts. so this way the supplied ones can be used to secure the other end of the connection
youll see what i mean

no instructions came with mine.. did anyone elses have them included?
