yep its an 85...possibly 86 with a carbed motor in it but more likely an 85.

i want more pics of the 82 GT next to it!!!

To be honest they don't look terrible (they seem to work with the clean LX notch look) but wouldn't be my number 1 choice. I also would move those wheels way outward. Tucked in just doesn't work for me.

But they are different and definately better than 10 holes or something else!

Hissing Cobra:

WOW, what a group of cars. I'll take them all! that white 85 with the aero style valence is unique, i havent seen one done like that before.

That 82 is EXACTLY what my first car should have been, just with red interior instead of black. The day I went to get it I was told that it had been sold just the night before. Ever since that day I have been daydreaming about an 82. I'm confident that if I had gotten the 82, I would still have it now, 8 years later, and not have owned the majority of the cars listed in my sig.

my apologies for hijacking the thread but i loves me some 4-eyes!!!

I will be brutally honest. Those are the worst looking wheels to use on a fox body Mustang for the 5 lug conversion. The wheels look awful on foxes, but your car is really nice. FR500's would have been a better choice.

i wouldnt go so far as to say that they are the worst, there are plenty of wheels both ford and aftermarket that look far worse than mach 1's. i thought they looked pretty good on my black GT, except for the whole tucked-in look. i dont really care for them on a fox myself, but i definitely wouldnt say that they are the WORST.

I like the wheels, but only on the Mach 1. I liked the wheels better on the black GT that had its pic above, than on that notch.

Well, hopefully you guys that are haters :D will change your minds when I get mine all done. Unfortunately, my priority right now is to get my car running. As soon as I get to that point, I will be postering some photos!

Lems:)

yeah that was my black GT, ditched those wheels for some 97 cobra wheels...the mach 1's looked good from the angle you see, but sucked from this angle...this is what i mean about them being too flat and sunken into the wheel well...but id still rather have these than any V6 wheel among some others that arent too attractive

Yeah, I though they looked good on your car, the black and the ground effects looked good.....

I like them , they flow with the straight lines of the notch. I dont think they would work well on a GT, all you need is some bigger tires on the back to fill up that wheel well.
And the best thing about them is that they are very original.
