MACH 1 FACTORY SUBFRAME CONNECTORS???????

Hey guys, quick question.... I was wondering if anybody was running a gt or a cobra with the subframe connectors that come on the 03/04 mach 1. They are a bolt in set which I know wont be the most soild... but Ive heard that the weldin subframes you have to pull the carpet, and that if you dont paint the weld it can rust being its just metal?? Also anyone who has a mach, can you feel a ride differance between a mach and a gt?

Don't bother. Weld in Max Motorsports SFC's are the way to go.


It can't hurt...but bolt-ins do allow more flex than weld ins

Yeah the bolt in's will help some, but like he said, full length weld in are the ****. You can't really compare ride quality between mach and GT based solely on subframes, it has totally different suspension.

maximum motorsports full length SFC, you don't have to pull the carpet to have it welded.

+1.The mach suspension is a lil different than a GT,the mach sits 1/2 inch lower and comes with Tokico shocks/struts,other than that they are the same,unless Im missing something.The subs prob help some but if I where gonna add them to a GT Id do it right like everyone else says.
