Walk into a Ford dealer with the part number provided on KarKraft's website.
Either or, fake a wreck by bashing in your front end and have your insurance company pay for it. J/k =P

just got off the phone with my local ford dealer here's what they said
MACH 1 HOOD $567.87 they dont charge shipping is what i was told but it could be aready figured in
INSTALLED $100
PAINTED $80
TOTAL IS $747.OO
not bad i figure i could just cover up the shaker hole until i get it from karkraft.com
how much should i sell my stock gt hood for its in prime condition.

Goto http://www.classicdesignconcepts.com/catalog/itemdisplay/561.html as silvr04GT said. For $795 complete, using your OEM hood, you can 'shake it'!

try www.gefracing.com I agree the cdc kit looks like crap with the black plastic overlay. I would rather have the stock mach1 shaker and hood.

$439 for the Mach 1 hood. Probably cost you another $75 to $100 to ship it though.
That total dealer price wasn't all that bad, considering you would never get anyone to paint a hood for $80. Any good paint shop will charge you $150 to 200 to paint the hood.

Imo the CDC kit looks terrible with the goofy raised plastic piece that looks like an afterthought. I also am not so sure about cutting the stock hood due to structural rigidity and stuff.
Go with the OEM Mach 1 hood and the KarKraft shaker setup. Yeah its more but you get a hood you dont have to cut and uses OEM Mach 1 shaker hood, scoop, and parts.
