Mach 1 or Cobra

Good thing about the GT is that if you do S/C it with forged internals and 9.1-1 compression and around 15PSI, you should have plenty of power to destroy most cobras.Although alot have more power, their weight kills them and you should be running mid 11s...not a bunch of cobras out their that do that.And man just imagine how they feel getting beat by a GT..even if your right with them they will still be mad as crap.

If money is not a question, here's the order I would go.............
1. 03/04 Cobra :worship:
2. Mach 1
3. 99/01 Cobra

Man all these replies are awesome...thank you everyone for taking the time. As it stands now the Mach 1 has the edge based on the fact that my insurance agent just told me the 03/04 Cobra would cost me $1600 every six months for the same coverage that now costs me $900 every six months for the GT (and I've have had a driver license for 12 years with pretty much a clean record), can we say rape?....and Mach 1s have that solid rear axle.

mach 1's are awesome! except for the wheels, dumb painted spoiler,and ugly gauges, they rock.

They(Ford and CDC) tried to make them just like the Origional MACH1's. The whole idea behind everything you don't like about them is all about the nostalgic look.

boomshack, If I were you I'd go with the MACH1.

Besides the 03&04 Cobras and the 2000 Cobra R's their the fastest Mustangs that FORD has made(and that pisses off a lot of Stock N/A pre 03 Cobra owners).

The #1 reason (Other than the fact that they just look totally AWESOME ) I'd get one over a 99 or 01 Cobra=SOLID AXLE!

Insurance isn't bad on them either. It was only $2?? more every 6 month for a MACH compared to my GT vert.


$9 more a month for insurance on a Cobra. Take another hit dude, then pass it over here!

I went from a 2000 GT to a 04' cobra and my insurance went up $31 a month. Not bad.

I want a Mach 1 so bad I can't wait to get out of college so I can get one. I like the Mach 1's seats better than the Cobras I also think the Machs hood is way cooler.
