Mach 1 Rotors on a GT

Hey,
I am looking at some rotors for a Mach 1...

Is this install tuff? Will these fit? Any better than my stock ones? I have almost 107,000 miles...is this a good time to switch? When I brake, it seems I need to put a lot of pressure on it, and some times the car will break in bursts..like they oscilate..what could be up?
 
Simple bolt-on I did the Machs because the Mach calipers are cheaper than the Cobras or Bullits (no graphics). The only problem I had was that I can't find SS lines for the Mach calipers and the SS Cobra lines I bought wouldn't work, the banjo bolt was to big. I ended up going to the dealership and buying OEM Mach lines. The stock GT lines would work as it has the same size banjo bolt as the Cobras.

The Mach 1 brake install is very easy. In fact, even the stock GT dust covers fit perfectly behind the 13" rotors. I would recommend replacing the brake lines with new ones, even if they are not stainless, when you switch calipers. The oscillations are probably from your ABS working when you stomp on the brake pedal. The same thing happens in my '96 GT.

No..it isnt...the oscillations come from light braking..like the power or force comes in waves if that makes sense..any ideas?
 
Could also be air in the lines. I've seen ABS kick in under light braking if there was air in the lines. I'd try bleeding them. The best way to tell if it's a warped rotor is to drive really fast and then apply the brakes lightly. If the steering wheels shakes it's a rotor.
