I'm putting a 03 mach 1 hood and scoop setup onto a 2000 GT and there's one part i'm missing, it's the rain sealpart of the scoop. does any one know where i can get one? also i'd like to repaint the scoop part due to some nicks, what color is it?
If you got a kit one should have come with it. If not I would try your local Ford dealer and order one through them cause most place will prob. want to sell you the shaker and all. The scoop should be a composite plastic and I wouldn’t paint it. I think they used to put metal scoops on the original mach and you could do a flat black with a light clear.
it is an original shaker system from a 2003 mach 1 and the scoop is made of metal. thanks for your answer, so i guess i can freshen up the look of the scoop with some flat black paint. I will go to the dealership tomorrow and check on the rain seal part.
