are tokico shocks/struts on the mach 1 the same as on the bullit, i am pretty sure the springs are different but are the shocks/struts? If so would they be better with the eibach pro-kit
Mach 1 shocks/struts are the same Tokicos but valved differently. I had the Mach 1s with MRT springs (like Steeda sport springs) and they worked fine, I've heard people gettin the Bullitt shocks/struts as well. I went with the Mach 1s cause they were a fair amount cheaper. You should be fine with either one.
Actually you have it backwards. The Bullitt sits lower than the Mach. The only reason the Mach sits higher than the Bullitt is that Ford raised their ride height requierments. Don't confuse form with function. Ford didn't design the suspension of the Mach with drag racing in mind. They are setup for the street. Go to your service manager and brag about your ETs and see how fast they void your warranty The Bullitt was about 3/4 inch lower than a stock Mustang whereas the Mach is about 1/2 inch lower.
Well when you order Mach 1 springs and Bullit springs most descriptions say approx. 3/4 - 1" drop for either one. So is the discrepency because of the differences in the shocks and struts? Then again, what the hell, .25 inch isn't that much anyway.
I don't need to, my dealer rents out the local track for SVT drag days a couple times a year and they have their own performance shop. Everything they do is covered under warranty. But that's another story.
