How hard is it to install that Mach I chin spoiler. I think it would look good on my car, you know add a little something to the front end without going overboard. Is it a PITA to do?

Also do you guys think it will look good on my car? See Poll above..

I have a 2001 Silver GT...

Me too. I got mine last week. Hopefully I can get it on this weekend.

It doesn't look hard. I think you'll need someone to line it up while you drill holes. Alternatively, I suppose you could just use tape to hold it on while you drill them.

its cake man, if you are doing it yourself, get some clamps, not like c-clamps, but just cheap plastic spring ones.

1. get it where you want with the clamps,
2. drill holes
3. put in push pins
4. enjoy

Sweet! Glad to hear it isn't a major pain, I think it looks pretty good on the front of the GT, just adds enough of a aggressive look without being over the top!

Where's the best place to order them from?

Looks AWESOME. Very inexpensive way to make the front end stand out a little more. Took me 45 minutes to install. Line it up like you want, then duct tapt it to the car so its attached just like you want. Then you'll need to jack the car up like 5 inches for some good room under the bumper to reach the furthest back screws. Simply drill and put the screws in. Cakewalk.

I asked my speed shop if they could order me one to avoid shipping on my end. They said they just got some in and he would hold me one I think the price is around $69.

Has this subject been beat to death yet!!!!!???!?!?!?!?

First of all the chin spoiler looks good on the GT's

Second, I did a search for "chin spoiler" and came up with 2 pages of hits.
Why is there yet another thread started on this subject, especially from a person with over 1600 post.
This site is getting to full of to many people asking the same questions 5 times a day with 5 different threads.

DO A SEARCH FIRST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I clicked on the link to mustangtuning.com a few posts down from your's and that one says it fits 99-02 Cobras as well Might wanna give them a call if you really wanted it. Thought i'd let you know

EDIT: Just checked CDC's website and... "Classic Design Concepts offers the Mach 1 Chin Spoiler for 99-04 GT, V6 Mustangs and 99-02 Cobras (Please note: The chin spoiler appearance on the Cobra fascia will not be as flush as the GT fascia. All necessary hardware included in the kit. 3-year warranty on manufacturer defects."

Don't worry about it. Sometimes a search is hit or miss. Chevylover must have had someone crap in his corn flakes.
