Just like the subject says, what is the size of the Mach I exhaust tips? I love the rolled look and was hoping to score a set from somewhere for my car. Hopefully their 2 1/2" or 3". Oh, and how far back do the tips go with the larger diameter. Thanks.

Am I reading your sig right that you have a cat-back on the Mach 1? If so would you be willing to part with your old exhaust tips, cause I want them.

You might want to run a tape measure past them again, 'cause mine measure 3" OD

Ours is 3".

I just measured them last week cause I just received my Magnaflow catbacks yesterday. And Im replacing their tips with 3 1/2" rolled Magnaflow tips.
Now if it would just warm up outside.

I never measured them in the first place, I just figured that they were 2.5 since that's what my GTs tips were. Thanks for the correction. Weird though cause my magnaflows look a helluvalot more then .5 inches bigger then the Mach 1 stock tips.

Actually I'm thinkin of reusing them on my Ford Ranger if I put split exhaust on that puppy. But I'll let you know if I'm not gonna use them.

The Magnaflow tip will look bigger since their not rolled.
My Magnaflow 3 1/2" rolled tips came today, so Im going to put the ones that came with the system on Ebay.

The reason I like the rolled tips is you can see them from behind. Regular slice tips all you see is.........."hole".

I ordered the 2 1/2" inlet x 3 1/2" rolled tip.
#35113 from http://www.bestautopartsonline.com/tips3.htm

And Ill be dammed if their not right. Their actually 3" inlet x 3 1/2" rolled tip.

Way to BIG of a inlet. Their website is screwed up. And so is this place!
http://www.a-1parts.com/performance_store/magnaflow_stainless_exhaust_tip.cfm

I checked Magnaflows website and sure enough, both sites are screwed
Here is Magnaflows part numbers. http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/tips/truck.htm

As you can see the #35113 has the 2 1/2" inlet. I emailed bestautoparts and Im demanding replacment # 35114 for no additional costs. I just hope 18" is not to long.

I haven't forgotten you. Now that my rolled tips are not right, I might have to use the Maganflow tips for a few days till the replacements come.
Course if it dont get any warmer, I might not be getting the Mach out.

Thank goodness its not my daily driver.

They are 3". wish I had read your post before I took my stock exhaust off and scrapped it though the tips are welded and would require work to put on a GT.

Don't the bullitts have the same exhaust tips??

Here's a set for sale on Ebay
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...tem=7923628579&category=33633&sspagename=WDVW

Two weeks ago, i scored a set of Mach 1 tips with less than 100 miles on them. Not a spec of soot or rust on them. They were cut about 3" after where the chrome ends so i have plenty to weld with.

Thing is, i'm not sure i want to use them. I think i want some bigger 3.5" rolled tips. If i go with those, i might be looking to sell my Mach tips
