Mach1 motor in a 98GT

A friend of mines purchased a 2003 Mach 1 motor for his 98GT. He wants to put LT headers on the motor before the install and wants to know if the 99+ Cobra LT headers will fit around the tranny. Also the motor is off an Auto Mach1 with the cast crank, what should he set the rev limiter too. I know the Manual mach's have a 6800 red line and the auto has 6000 redline.

Auto is 5,800.

a lot of cammed 2v guys are revving thier cars to 6600+ with a cast crank and stock bottom end. play at your own risk...i would

I don't think the auto mach's are limited to 5800, that is the GT's. The Mach's are meant to be spun to 6500rpms to hit their peak if I remember correctly.
