Alright so I got bored today and got a hold of some Mach 1 rims and threw them on my car. I've never seen them on one before so heres some pics! Let me know if ya like em. Right now I have stockers and I'm still leaning towards some 03 cobras (not chromed) with some smoked headlights over mach1's and smoked headlights. Tell me what ya think

Good Improvment over the stockers. 03 Cobra rims would look very good to.

I know I can't make my mind up so I'm gonna throw some 03's on there and see what they look like and make my mind up then. Now I just need my old man to get a terminator at the dealership so I can put em on mine.

I personally think the 03 cobras would be your best bet. I like the tri-bars over the mach 1's, but for some stupid reason I am partial to the tri-bars. The mach 1's look skinny and sunk way up in the fenderwell.

Mine are from a mach 1 so whatever the stock ones were. I just yanked them off for a second to see how they looked.

To be honest i think the mach 1 wheel was one of the worst looking wheels ford has put on a late model stang. With a lip in the back they are sort of OK, but I still don't care for them. I'd grab the cobra's if I were you.

I have to agree. The 17x9 versions with a deeper lip do look better.

The wheel vintiques billet 17" magnum 500 looks awsome though Ford just messed up the original magnum design by making them to flat looking with no dish at all.

There is a aftermarket version of the mach 1 wheel that the spokes taper back some giving them a deeper dish that looks real good but I don't remember the brand. I saw a advertisement in one of the mustang mags. They were polished finish.

I like the mach 1's over the cobras. Everyone gets cobras but the mach 1's have a good look that you dont see too often

I agree but then I'm biased. Those BTW are 17x9.

I agree. I think it's because the Mach 1 wheels are so flat and angular. They go better with the new edge cars, much like 98 Cobra wheels only look good on SN95 cars.

I'm also kinda partial to tri-bars too. I thought about having a set widened out to 17x9 so I could use some fat tires for the sleeper look.
