Machine shop for drive shaft modifications?

Its time to get the d.s. shortened and wondered if anyone has used a shop in the Southeast they would suggest?

look through the yellow pages, call the shops that are local to you. Its not hard to find a place that can/will do it.

The local shops dont rebalance them.

they don't need to if they don't cut the factory balance weight off. Just cut off the yoke, then say 1" of tubing (or however much you need shortened), and reweld the yoke at the same clock position as before. Shouldn't have any balance issues.

I'm in Savannah and there are several folks that do it here, I can't imagine you can't find someone in Waycross to do it.
