I'm in the process of converting an '86 Stang with an H.O. to MAF. Can I leave original harness in the car and just swap the ECM with one from an 89-93 Mustang with an H.O.? I plan to get the MAF conversion harness that ties in with the existing Speed Density sensor wires. Are any of the pins different in the computer and will everything work correctly?

This is what you need, along with a Mass Air meter and a computer. This is what I used, and the wiring took about 45 minutes (taking my time).Great kit,and cheaper than a new harness. The repinning is super simple....move two wires, add two wires, splice two wires.Done.The kit has great instructions.I'm using an A9L computer and a Mass Air meter (73mm) and sensor from a '90 V-8 T-bird.Again,super easy, and the total supplies are as follows....

-Mass Air wiring kit
-computer
-mass air meter/sensor,
-air intake tubes.
