Ok, just did the h/i and all the mods in my sig. I hadnt ran the car on the street cuz i have been waiting for my 76mm MAF (C&L). I did turn on the car a few times and was runnin the stock 19# MAF and the car idled ok and would rev fine. Well, finally got the 76mm in and the bitch didnt fit, the metal tube that it came with was hitting the firewall and the MAF would not even come close to lining up. This is mostly due to the fact that im running the trick flow designed EGR spacer so i can run an aftermarket AFPR instead of running the spacer between the upper and lower. So anyways, seein as how i bought this thing through some internet site, i didnt want to go through the hassle of returning it since it took almost 2 weeks to recieve, who knows when i would really see my money. so i ended up cutting about 3/8's in. off the metal tube and got everything to fit fine. well now when i start it up the car will not idle worth anything and would just sputter and die. I disconnected the MAF and the car idled like shiit, but atleast it idled and revved ok. btw, im not runnin an open filter under the hood, i have the march ram air box and cone filter inside. ok, so what do i do now??

If is possible to rotate the MAF assembly, try turnining it 45 degrees at a time. This will change the airflow through the MAF and often is the fix.
