MAF....my last bolt on

What type and size of MAF do you reccomend for my current setup? I have an idea but want to confirm with all of your opinions.Thanks

I have an 80mm Pro-M and it's worked great for me...

I've heard of drivability issuses with C&L's...

you think that if I add the MAF that I might as well throw in the Throttle body with it? 80mm is exactly what I was thinking as far as MAF. What do you think I should throw in throttle body wise? I refuse to go with BBK. I will more than likely go with acufab but I am unsure of the size. What are you guys running with the 80mm maf?

Not gonna make any difference on the 99+ cars unless you are over 400rwhp(force induction), and even then it will be a small amt. If you end up doing it and it does show a gain, it's because you just leaned out your tune (aka needs a new tune now). Save your pennies for a port/polish job.

that's pretty much the same for the MAF also though you know. I know that I won't see s h i t from the TB except a different feel to the throttle. I was just curious.

90mm lightning MAF. then you gotta get retuned or a reburned chip but you can still use the stock injectors.

yeah but what would that be worth to me? The hp gain from the maf is in the leaning out of the curve. Retune and adjust for that and the power would be minimal until forced induction was utilized. You think that I should just say f u c k it and throw a 90 on it. I'd think that I would lose power with something that big....i dunno someone with a good setup let me know before I learn a lesson once again

Its a completely worthless mod unless you're going for over 400rw as mentioned above. Over that hp, you will peg your stock MAF. Leaning out your A/F is a foolish thing to do.
