I was thinking pro-m, but my speedshop say they dont exist anymore.So what brand is a good one?

your speed shop is wrong. if they think PRO M doesnt exist anymore than they are wrong and are not up to date with performance equipment. Go to a different shop.


Pro M is under a different name but they still exist.

either the new Pro-m or C&L.. i have a C&L for 24's.. works good.. thing is its kinda of a swing or a miss lol people have had problems with them and then others havent..

dont go with c&l, based on what tuners have told me, the pro m style is the way to go for tuning purposes.

i already have a c&L 73mm under the hood,but i dont want to buy the tube for the #24,and i want real stuff.....pro-m.

Be sure you tell your supplier to order with your air inlet configuration in mind. A ProM (Mass Air Systems) meter set up for 24's has a slightly different calibration for 1) meter on a stock air box, 2) conical bolted to the end of the meter (don't do that - hot air kills HP), or 3) CAI with an elbow in front of the meter. Anything that effects HOW the air flows across the hot wire in the meter will impact it's accuracy. Also, it's trying to match a transfer function in your computer - so a CAI intake set up for 24's will have a different calibration if it was for an 4) 89 HO, 5) 94 HO or 6) 93 Cobra.

So, if you buy a used meter set up for 24's -- you also need to know was it originally calibrated for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 above. They're not as 'plug and play' as folks think...

You should call them and talk it through with them -- they'll take the specific details of your car/ecu/intake set up and help you pick the right one. Buy new -- the few extra bucks you spend will be well worth it compared to the headaches that can come from trying to get a mis-matched used unit to work right.

how can a C&L be that bad? I use just the stock Module on it and the hard aluminum part cant be that bad to mess up.. im happy with mine so far.. im gonna get it tuned soon after the cars put back together
