Ok so i have been searching and searching but have not found a clear answer and i am sure its been answered but couldnt find it.

1st. i have larger a throttle body, Cobra intake manifold, and CAI in the fender well. will a larger MAF be worth getting? still have stock heads and cam. if it matters car has shortys, offroad X pipe, and a catback

2nd if its worth getting i have heard to stay away from C&L and look into Pro-M. from what i have been reading i want to stay away from anything that uses a sample tube method. now i also read that the 75mm Pro-M bullet MAF uses a sample tube unlike the other offerings from them. i can not find any other sizes from Pro-M that will work tho. not even on their site. so my question is does the 75mm bullet really use the sample tube method and what do u guys suggest i use?

Simple and cheap MAF swap...

94-95 Mustang GT MAF - $40-$100. It is 70 MM instead of the stock 55 MM on regular stangs built prior to 94. It uses a slip on duct on the side that goes to the throttle body and a 4 bolt flange on the other. You need a flange adapter to fit the stock slip on air ducting that goes to the air box. Wiring plugs right in with no changes. *1 *2

Once your replacement 70MM MAF is in place, disconnect the battery for about 10 minutes. When you reconnect the battery and start the engine, the computer will relearn the settings for the new MAF.

*1.) Metal flange adapter http://www.kustomz.com/cat3.html Buy the TR70 for $44.95. Or spend some time on eBay looking for one that may fit.

*2.) MAF & sensor interchange
The 94-95 Mustang 5.0 MAF & sensor is also found on:
1995-94 Mustang 3.8L F2VF-12B579-A2A,
1994-92 Crown Victoria 4.6L F2VF-12B579-A2A,
1995-94 Mustang, Mustang Cobra 5.0L F2VF-12B579-A2A,
1994-92 Town Car 4.6L F2VF-12B579-A2A,
1994-92 Grand Marquis 4.6L F2VF-12B579-A2A,
Evidently the –A1A, -A2A, AA, etc. on the end of the part number is a minor variant that did not change the operating specs. You should be able to ignore it and have everything work good.

How are the Walker brand MAF? I see they make oem replacements or am I better off getting a used OEM?

I wouldn't buy anything that's not original Ford..... not true, pro-m is a great company, but overkill for what you want to do.
Go with the jy maf

I can say with absolute certainty that a 75mm pro m bullet for 19's is worth .2 in the quarter on a relatively stock engine.
Pretty damn good value since they can be had for $100 or less on the used market.

Stay away from C&L that have removable/replaceable sample tubes. Not all C&L are constructed this way. They do have fixed housings that will use Ford electronics that very stable/repeatable results and still retain good, low CFM resolution.

I have a very similar setup, minus the manifold, and i went with the SN95 MAF. Felt a little snappier on the bottom. Ebay adapter worked fine. Google it, theres a ton of info on what car you can grab the MAF from, it's not just v8 mustangs

Does the CAI have to modified if I use the adapter and sn95 MAF?

i was thinking off getting the adapter posted in the 2nd post "Metal flange adapter http://www.kustomz.com/cat3.html Buy the TR70 for $44.95" and then the MAF for around $40. thats how i figure it to be about $100.

thank you for the link. that adapter is much cheaper.

That's a universal adapter. Verify that whichever one you get is the right size.

10-4. I'm not running it anymore but I had a 70mm from a Marquis on my setup prior. Worked great. $25 from Crazy rays.

I bought a reman 93 Cobra MAF (70 mm, direct fit replacement) & housing from the local auto parts store and installed my stock sensor in it.

The stock housings have the bar that runs through the middle of the housing. My understanding is this bar is to cancel out back-pressure spikes at the sensor that can cause false readings. If you can find one with this feature, it is better than running a housing that doesnt have it.
