MAF with K&N FIPK?

Can I use a C&L 80mm Mass Air Filter with a K&N Fuel Injection Performance Kit(essentially cold air intake)? I know the C&L website doesn't recommend using one of their MAFs with another application but I'm wondering if it can be done anyway and see typical MAF gains. Thanks.

Go with the Pro-M go to www.rpmoutlet.com find hte one WITH flange I would recommend that one
