The new exhaust should be here tomorrow. Went with the street series cat-back vs the competition mufflers. I want a little rumble, not looking to piss off the neighbors more than I already do.

At least now it'll sound like a proper V8.

That should be it until I get the truck buttoned back up and make some room for this thing to get ripped on.

Absolutely. I'll do one right before I put it on the lift and right when I go to start it back up.

I'll put the GoPro in the car too so you can here what it sounds like inside.

For comparison, here's the video from in the car on the dyno yesterday with the stock exhaust.

They make new pistons every day, so why worry?

Yeah, I've heard both and the comp system was just a little too loud for me. Back on my younger days, sure, I'd have gone that route. But my old a$$ likes a good rumble outside, but I don't wanna go for a drive and need earplugs from the drone inside the car.

Gettin' old SUCKS! lol

Put the exhaust on this afternoon. This was literally a 30 min job, took long to unpack the box....

I'm REALLY happy with the sound, it was EXACTLY what I was looking for....little but of growl, little deeper note, but not obnoxious. Inside the car is almost no noticeable difference, unless you lug the motor down low, you will hear some drone there.

Hate it when parts just fall off a brand new car. Holy crap that exhaust is heavy. It's easily a 30 lb drop in weight.

Really nice fit and finish. Only had one minor ding on the pipes and that was one of the connections....couple taps with the hammer and it was all good.

I'm loading a video now of how it sounds. The video really doesn't do it justice.

Here's the inside and outside video from the GoPro's....

https://youtu.be/vkTBiVVSB38

The little bit of rattling you hear inside the car is my radar detector against the windshield....I'm about to smack that thing with a hammer.
