trying to plan out my exhaust. 289 block/aod, looking at shelling out for the stainless JBA long tubes. Would like the magnaflow exhaust but not sure the "X" will fit. JBA does offer the H pipe in aluminized so if anyone has experience using the JBA products with the aod trans please chime in.

I added a nice chrome overflow tank, the Prestone jug I was using for 10 yrs had to go. Also installed a Wysco electric fan

I'm still using a prestone jug, but I just got a new tank put on my 3 row last week and I was wondering how much your fan cost and where you got it from? It looks like it would do far better than my stock, unshrouded fan.

shakin66, Please post some pics and what headers you are running if I may ask? Would headers that tuck closer to the floor cure the low hanging exh?

ga289stocker, nice ride. not exactly what I was after, looking to use the 2.5" SS Magnaflow kit that is header back including the x pipe. Thanks anyways.

Man that little electic fan blows the heck out of the old flex fan I was using. Just do a ebay search. It's a 16" unit Wysco, I paid about $45 to my door, best mod I've done so far. It's fits perfect on the radiator, it seemed like it was made for the Mustang, has a good 1.5-2" of clearance as well on the pulley. My car has never had any over heating issues, I have a on off switch i use, haven't gottern around to installing the thermastic switch yet. Best part is i don't even use the thing when i'm crusin..if i stop for few minute's it crep's up and i just flip the switch and she cools right down. Works great for racing and the stagging lanes too...and i can document my et improvement w/ it..hightly recommend one...:nice:

yes indeed you have, thanks gnn60gt500. I posted before I called you.
hows the ground clearance and fitment of those jba's, are they the long tube SS ones or the shorties?

early or late motor mounts?

How low does the car sit and what kind of ground clearance at the collectors. if any pics are around that would be great, a can of coke seems to be a great gauge at the rockers and collectors!

Also was there any modifying reqd for the e-brake bar like was described in the jba "h" pipe description?
