Magnaflow?

Thanks for the help. I've been told that they are more quiet, and that they sound better on mod motors. I just wanted to hear the opinions from some fox guys who had them.

Oh, and if you're already running H/C/I and they're quiet, they would probably whisper on my car :p
Yep, they are pretty quiet with cats. Another reason I got the magnaflows is that I was given a ticket for "loud exhaust". Obviously there are louder setups than one with cats and 3-chamber flows but at WOT it fuggin howls. The cop could have nailed me for "exhibition of speed" so I'm not complaining. lol Anyway, when I took the car in to be inspected for the citation they gave it the ok without hesitation. Even my wife noticed how much quieter the car is. At idle, aside from having more "bass", it isn't much louder than my '92 (see sig). I've been conditioned on the sound of Flowmasters over the years but the Magnaflows have grown on me. After reading the other's posts and hearing 795.0pacecar's clip  I'm going to try an off-road x-pipe before yanking the magnaflows. 79's note is obviously similar to mine's but I can tell you that his is clearly more aggressive, and sounds cleaner.

i have mags on my car and they sound great my neighbors think that my motor is all modded up . mine are small and round cylinder like not much bigger than the exhaust do i have the cheap type what are they supposed to look like but i was thinking of changing them to flowmasters but now that i have seen this thread i will be selling the flowmasters that i have .

the guy i bought the my foxbody from installed the magnapacks and welded in the xpipe and it is leaking all over the place .so if i take it to a muffler shop i should still be able to use the magnapacks on my foxbody or is there some clearance issue pertaining to where they are supposed to be mounted?
