i had one on my 93 but at the us 131 was the big ford deal i got a mustang plate holder deal thing and its got the nmra logo's and says hell yes i street race ...and i thought it looked cooler so i swaped it out.

im probley gonna put it on the 94 someone tryed to jack my licence plate like a month ago!!!! whats up with that i came out and it was all bent up like some one was trying to bend it till it broke off?????

but back on topic why i was really gonna post was to say the smoked ones look really good and you can get a black frame to go around it to accent your black trend

You've convinced me too... yet another project to work on! Where did you say you got the VHT from?

I was thinking about doing the grill emblem too, ya know, to go along with my black car. If it works well, maybe even the fender emblems!

What do you think?

Also does anyone know the legalities of tinted tails? Im not really worried about it, just curious. I get away with 5% tint and straight pipes I bet Ill get away with this.

Man that looks great on DFG! I'm gonna have to look into doing that...
Are the lights still easily visible through the lense at night or is it something thats gonna get me pulled-over for inadequate tail light lighting?

thats a lot of tight spots to sand....and sanding them just right will be to hard ...probley ruin the surface....but ....see what you can come up with a spare and try a trial and see what happens...my experiance is it sticks initially but while its drying it will roll right off and maybe stick to the endes and looks terrible

Looks good. Paint the "non-lense" area the same color as the car.

They light up almost like they arent tinted. So saftey isnt an issue. I did the 3rd light first and saw how it lit up cause I dont want to be getting rear ended.

Well its really hard to scuff up chrome.
And if you did scuff it up enough for it to stick, it would lose its shine.

beside VHT , you could lightly sand the lens and shoot it with a coat of clear

then mix some black into the clear and finish it off with 2 additional coats,

this will last longer over the vht

Yea. That would last longer than the VHT. But Im just gonna use an automotive clear over it. Its already dark enough.

Also Im going to paint the bezles green again. Its just too much black with black bezels and tinted lenses.
