Just Converted to manual on a 66 coupe v-8 original. All you need is a manual center link, disregard any other information about the pitman arm, idler arm, and tie rods. For future swaps, I recommend using a "fork" removal tool for spreading all the joints. A small gear puller works just as well. The most troubling part was removing the bolt from the valve going into the pitman arm.
