Over the winter I really want to work on something, either the engine in my GT or build up something else. I have just purchased a Lincoln Mark VIII (93 or 94 I think, got it for really cheap), the car is trash but the engine runs and is in great shape, I think it has around 113k miles on it. Anyway, my plan is to take the engine out of the car, take it apart, rebuild it with forged internals, and throw it in my GT. I know that's easier said than done, but I have the tools and the time to do it. Does this seem worth it to do? I want a big HP machine down the road, and this just seems like the way to do it. Also, don't the Mark VIII engines have the teskid block? What else would I need to do to make this engine work in my car? I'm assuming intake manifold and reflash the computer, or possibly reuse the Mark VIII computer? Rewire? Sensors? Exhaust manifolds? Any and all information is possible, I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty and I think this could be a worthwhile project. Thanks in advance for any opinions / advice.

) that had 960 rwhp and dialed it back to a mere 760 and still needs four people in the car to come any where near traction. He buys new rear tires every month and a half, no
and they are Drag Radials. His car will light the tires at 120 and chirp like a bird if floored at 150 mph
