:hail2: I figured out my issues this week and need to replace my MAF. I want to do an upgrade while I'm at it, i was thinking about a 90mm Granatelli Mass Airflow and Accell 24 or 30 Lbs injectors. any ideas as to what you guys have tried and liked. Here are a list of my mods so you can tell me what you think i should go with.

GT40 upper and lower
Trick Flow Stage 2 Cam
Roller Rockers (These were installed before I got the car so i dont know the ratio but they are blue if that helps)
Under Drive Pulleys
Tremac Trans
383 Gear.
:nice:

stock heads? that meter is way too big if your running stock heads...id say more like a 70 or 75mm...

Every Mass Air I ckd was a 90mm I plan on doing heads in the near future but they are stock for now. I was always told as long as you match the injector size to the MAF and run a TB that wasn't to large you should be OK. I ment to ask what TB you guys would sugest (size, brand)

As long as the MAF meter is of good quality, you won't have any issue going 'too big'
Most good meters will be able to read low enough in your idle ranges.
You just won't be using all of the range (approaching redline)...

Are you going to be changing injector sizes periodically?
Is a custom tune (via J3 chip) in the plans? Tuning it yourself?
These questions can open up other possibilities for MAF selection.

That way does work, however the proper way to adjust for larger injectors is with a tune.

Didn't Figure it out HELP

:bang: :bang:I guess my leg work isn't done. I swapped my MAF with a friend of mines car and it seemed to fix my problem until I drove to work this morning. When I get about 12 miles from the house and stop at the red light there the car will idle fine for a few seconds and then start surging and when you rev it up it will bog down, if you cant get going pretty fast it will die and you are stuck. If you can get going it will stumble all over its self for a mile or so and then its fine. I tried to use the diagnostic plug but its dead (this was a 4cyl car that someone did a v8 conv) the only thing it will read is fuel pressure. When you try to get the reader to give you the codes it tells you it can’t read the cylinders. PLEASE HELP IF YOU GOT ANY IDEAS. I have replaced the fuel filter and ck the fuel pressure both hot a cold it was between 30 and 34psi. I also had the ign module ck and it was fine, replaced the coil to.

I swapped out the ign module that is attached to the distributor and it didn’t help. Do you think it could be a problem with the electronics in the distributor (it’s a reman that was on the car when I got it) or the fuel pressure regulator?
