Mass Air flow Sensor NOT woking!!

Ok, so I was messing around with the air intake, modifying it and what not, and after having re-arranged some things, I ended up with the mass air flow sensor behind the other sensor that connects to the air intake(there are only two electronic sensors). So i guess that somehow makes my car not work properly and now if the MAF sensor is connected, my cars turns on, but turns off after a few seconds. The other sensor doesnt seem to make much of a difference whether connected or not. What the hell did I do, why is it doing this. Another problem could by that the air intake is not completely air tight,...maybe it works off of a certain pressure???,....I dont know.

If i were you i would put the intake back to stock and see if it works. try disconecting the batery for a few minutes and reconnect it and start it up and see if that makes a difference. if it works after that then you will have a better shot at isolating the problem.
im no expert, but those are just a few things that i would try.

The MAF is sensitive to airflow turbulance and vibrations. Generally, you need a certain amount of streight pipe just ahead of the maf to smooth the airflow enough for a descent reading.

The stock setup works very well and there are minimal gains by going to even the most expensive and carefully thought out cold air intake setups. Why not just keep the stock or aftermarket setup you already had?

Put it back the way it was before unless you have a very compeling reason to change what we already know works and works well.
