Mass Air meter issue

Hey guys im having a bit of a problem getting my mass air meter. I have 70mm TB and a BBK COld air intake. I ordered the 80mm PMAS 24# w/cold air tune, from cool blue, they emailed me and told me that the 80s wont be out for another 2 weeks. That they would send me the 85mm. Now theyt are telling me i need some adapter hose in order to make it fit with my CAI? ANy ideas guys? Im new to the mass air thing so, i dunno if 85 would be to big? What do u think?

80 or 85 is too big for your car. Throttle body is close to that too......

ive got more work done than whats in my sig.. plus the motors getting stroked this winter anyway, will the 80 or 85 still work on my car? According to a few guys i should be 12.80 once i get rid of my fuel starvation... But the 80-85 will still work with my car right? Its not going to cause any problems? I dont kno much about meters but from what i read the only difference in the bigger meter is it can flow more... or is there more to it?
