Mass Air/Tune Question

wow, people still use C&L? I have never heard anything good about their meters.

Like Kilgore said, anytime you change maf's you need to retune.

I've heard people talk crap about C@L for 10 years. I've had C@L's on my '93 GT and now on my Mach. Never had one problem with either of them.

If it was tuned around the C&L MAF, I'd stick with that or you might end up running richer than you want.
I just don't see the great benefit of the C&L MAF. Seems its intent is to allow more air to which you have to tune around to compansate. A simple free flowing air filter is all that is needed.
As stated, you CAN tune around an oversized, more free flowing MAF, and without any aftermarket tune you are probably ok, but with a generic aftermarket tune, you'll likely be lean.

Switching from my C&L True Flow whatever to a JLT unit tomorrow....Should I keep the C&L MAM since that's what is was tuned with or ditch it and go back to the stock MAM? Pros/Cons??

Who installed your cams? Has HPP done anything besides your tune?

HPP actually did the install and tune about 3 months ago...those guys are great! Best place in Dallas for Modular work hands down!

Edit time...I'll probably just keep the C&L MAM on until the P-51 goes on...then I'll get it tuned with the stocker...
