Daggar has made some good points. The only issues I see is that you better be good with electrical stuff, because with a Holley or similar kit, there is some re-wiring to do. For some guys, that's not a problem. Others couldn't wire up Christmas tree lights without making a mess and will have problems.
The other issue is support - if I have problems with my Mass Air car, I come to Stangnet and get advice. Some of it is pretty good too. Hang out here long enough and you can see who knows their stuff. If I have something like the Holley system, I may be very alone and have very little peer to peer help available.
