mass air wiring harness from 4cyl??

If I can find a mass air 4banger, will the wiring harness from computer to under hood work on a 5.0? The mass air conversion I just tried...the harness I have is from 92 or newer and its not working? my fuel pump won't come on and I've checked everything..the wiring is ****ed and I don't feel like dicking with that ****ty wiring harness anymore. I wanna find a harness from an '89, but if its off a 4banger will it work? thanks

No See http://www.autozone.com/servlet/UiB..._us/0900823d/80/19/59/5a/0900823d8019595a.jsp to get the diagrams & see the differences between the 4 cylinder & the 8 cylinder diagrams. Print them out & put them side by side, & you'll see what the differences are.

I am doing a conversion from a 4 banger and they will not work, much easier to get the correct harness that you need...

If you have your stock SD harness, and the mass air EEC, just get the jumper harness for about $40 and wire it in. They are pretty simple to wire in and allot cheaper than another harness. You can find that junper harness on ebay.
