Materials for side skirts??

Wanting to make some side skirts and an air damn around the front. By skirts I mean a 3 to 4 inch sturdy black molding that would bolt/tack on the bottom underside lip of the car. In case the pic doesnt work, its an 89 lx.The pic gives the general idea. Any ideas? Ive looked at hardware stores for garden edging but nothing is sturdy enough or pleasing to look at. Any help would be much appreciated. THANKS

BTW thats a pic of my car with 295's squeezed on. I do have megabyte lowers and had to put extra spacers in. With 8" welds and a 1/4 spacer they fit great. Wouldnt recommend them though. Car floats like crazy and they eat up power. They look sweet as muffins or some ***** YEEE HAAWWWW! Ill post this rear view. ooo babyyy
