I've decided to definetly go with the 18x9" chrome STEEDA Ultra Light wheels Since all 4 wheels are 9" wide, I just wanted to know what kind of tire sizes i could/should go with.

What tire sizes up front? I am thinking: 265/35/18
What tire sizes out back? I am thinking: 275/40/18

Also with 18's in the front you have to get 2XX/*35*/18 right? So there is no ''wheel-well rubbing issue''...? Because i hear the 35 size is the same as the 40 on stock 17's. So thats the way i'd like to keep it so there is no wheel well rubbing. What could I do for the back though, would 40s still fit? Maybe 45s? Or do i have to go 35 there too? Thanks for the input guys.

NOTE: For tires i'm going with the BFG G-Force T/A KD Drag Radials or the Eagle F1 GS-D3

POST SOME PICS OF YOUR TIRES/SIZES Pics always welcome!

I have bfg kdw 285's on 9's and they bulge a little, thats as big as I would go. 275's will handle better and 265 would be the max I would do on the front. I checked and 35's all the way around would be the closest match for the sizes you listed. Check discount tire direct, info center, tire dimensions made simple, they have a calculator for sizes.

265/35/18 front to reduce rubbing that would occur with 275's in front (even my 265's rub slightly on incline full lock turns). Then to keep the same diameter as stock and not to effect the speedometer, go with 275/35/18 in back. 285/35 will fit fine in back but will slightly effect the speedo.

I have 275 35 18 on 18 x9 up front and I can lock the wheel and I get no rub. I think the wheel backspacing is key in determining if rubbing will occur.

i have the same rims as you.. very odd that you don't experience rub.
