Maximum Motorsports front coilover kit?

I just purchased a Maximum Motorsports front coil over kit for my 03 mach 1. How much of a improvement should I expect handling wise, & in ride quality? After installing H&R supersports it always seemed like one side of my car sat higher in the front & I got tired of looking @ it that way. I figured coilovers would solve the problem, while making my car also handle & ride better. Also, how hard is the install?

the install isnt that difficult. takes maybe 3-4 hours.

improvement in handling is so much better than stock. ride quality is all dependent on what you can tolerate. i dont mind a rough ride in exchange for crisp handling. plus you have to do a little more upkeep, nothing much just making sure random parts are still tight. i dont remember if its included inthe instructions, but you have to trim or bend back a lot fo the inner fenderwellaround the springs.

Well it cant ride much harsher then my H&R ss's that i beleive are about an 750 lb. spring rate in the front right? Trim my inner fender well? U mean the fender liner right?

I may have been lucky, but I didn't have to trim anywhere in the fenderwell. I still have full freedom of steering movement from lock to lock through the full range of suspension compression.

After I read the first response I got a little scared, because I dont want to chop anything up, especially my fenderwells. So I called the MM tech line & they reassured me that I didnt have to cut up anything. I cant wait to get these on the car.

Yeah you won't have to cut anything up...unless your car has been previously wrecked or something Ride harshness will be reduced due to the coilover design (less spring rate, higher effective wheel rate), noise might be an issue, some have problems, I am lucky and haven't. Install isn't that bad, especially if you know your way around the front end of a Mustang to begin with.

Not to be a downer, but don't be surprised if after you get your car level in the front, the rear isn't level anymore.

That shouldnt be a problem because I hav the MM adjustable rear lca's. I can raise the rear by an inch, or lower it by 2.

Yea mine are ok. I LOVE the height adjustability because I uesed it a few times now . And I can set the car EXACTLY where I want it.

Only thing I dont like about my whole front end is the darn POPPING! Thing makes all kinds of noise at VERY low speeds ONLY, and it makes the car sound like its junk HAHAHA. Its very annoying and everything is super tight...but it sounds like the PA Racing K member is shifting or something. Could be my CC plates though. Just warning you...oh and you may also find that little twigs in the road sound like your hitting a 2 by 4 HAHA. In otherwords, things are amplified....also not totally sure whats thats caused from.
