Thinking about getting a NEON SRT-4! I just rode in my buddys pushing 21lbs of boost! Thing sounds sick too! We are going to track fri to run mine and to see what he runs! I will be keeping the stang tho! Hearing that thing spool and BOV was nice!

What a dumb thread.... You do realize you can put a turbo on a mustang as well right? Stupid kids and their little 4 bangers with turbos.

Why not spend 4k and put a turbo on your car instead of spending 15k on a pos neon?

Gayest Thread of 2007, sorry man, what did you expect coming on a mustang board and telling everyone you wanted to get a pos neon with a turbo. C'mon man, why wouldnt you just turbo the stang. and then run him into the ground. He will see nothing but tailights

lol, u guys are right... I need a DD anyway... i like the neon... Everything is coming out of the stang in 08... motor is already being built for it

Heh. I just picked up a 1998 Neon R/T, that's had the 2.4L swap out of a Stratus, and a Hahn Racecraft stage 2 turbo setup. This thing is unreal..way better than my 5.0. I'm going LS1 hunting with it tomorrow night, and I'm only running 8 psi. Couldn't imagine 21.

So you're gonna buy a $15k neon that's less reliable than the Mustang.... and is a ****ing neon. If it's gonna be a 4 banger turbo, at least make it something almost cool like an STI.

21 psi is askin for trouble on a stock srt4... I've seen atleast a dozen of these things get toasted from kids trying to "up the boost".

Granted, it may be fun while it lasts but c'mon... it's still FRONT WHEEL DRIVE!

I been here for years
forgot/lost first username password from when i was 16 and first got my 88, then i have been banned a couple times, learned my lessons and have mellowed out so that i could stay on this site, there are no other good stang sites around, but when im feeling froggy i just go to mustangworld now and pretty much anything goes there. But corral has been the suck lately and this is the only place thats has activity. So i have been around for 6 years or so.People always ask me how i know so much about stangs, and i tell them i learned 60 percent on stangnet and the rest in real life working on my own stang. lol I remember devus1 and daggar i think, they are the only ones i remember from back then. Then there was a guy with a black convertaable i think it was a four eye, it had black out headlight covers,black roll bar and black paint, the car was sick and was everybodies favorite car, i dont know what happenede to him or the car. Wish i knew, i drooled over that car all the time.

May be going turbo soon....
