I find it hard to believe none of you have had a taco ring, they are licious

Serves/Makes:8

Ingredients

* 1/2 lb (.2 kg). ground beef, cooked and drained
* 1 1.25 oz (35 grm) package taco seasoning mix
* 1 cup (225 ml) shredded cheddar cheese
* 2 tbsp (30 ml) water
* 2 8 oz (224 grm). pkgs. refrigerated crescent roll dough
* 1 med. green bell pepper
* 1/2 head lettuce, shredded
* 1 med. tomato, cubed
* 1 small onion, chopped
* 1/2 cup (125 ml) whole pitted black olives, sliced

* sour cream

Preparation

* Preheat oven to 375 degrees (200 C.).
* Combine meat, seasoning mix, cheese and water in 2 qt. batter bowl.
* Arrange crescent triangles in a circle on a 13" round baking stone, with bases overlapping in center and points to outside (there should be a five inch diameter circle in center).
* Using medium stainless steel scoop (approx. 2 T) spoon meat mixture over rolls.
* Fold points of triangles over filling and tuck under base at center (filling will not be completely covered).
* Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.

Jeeze; this thread really took off today! About 1,200,869 posts for response!
Alright, I'm done with this thread. It makes me sick! That or it might be I'm still bitter...
Dude, relax! With a name like Carlo in a town like Philly; you probably have spent most of your life with 1 or 2 babes on each arm - for you this is not an "off" period; it's just recharging the old batteries!

If it hits 2000 posts, we may have to get t-shirts made (something like "Yeah, I remember Jamie. But I love Heather! (and her mom)"--just for you, StangDreamin).
NO! NO! NO! That's for chepsk8 and 65stanger! I took myself out of that interest - before Mrs StrDr took me out :chair: :lol:
Actually, since I've been showing Sue this thread, she's turned all kinds of........ "really friendly" :D Don't know what about this love story is getting to her; but I'm too busy enjoying to worry about an explanation :banana:

By the way, I feel honored . . . my post made the pics! Dammit, Andy, couldn't you have gotten my avatar in the pic? This was my favorite pic until the bikini shots came into play! LOL
Me too! (My avatar made it) :p

All of you guys have been in it from the beginning, its crazy how far this thread has
gone, I love it. Yeah when somebody writes the movie you will all have the write to say"I was there for it all." Speaking of Heathers mom, she invited me and heather to come over to "eat taco ring????" Then we are going to watch embarrassing home movies. Maybe we can get in a photo opp.
Definitely a long-lasting thread. Started up quick and showing lots of endurance. :rlaugh:
I think this thread may outlast the "Two Word Story" - even if the 2MFFB Fab Shop computer starts mysteriously posting "The End". :p
EDIT: So wheres the pics????? :worthlesb
And yeah...... Heather, her Mom, her sister, Andy and a "taco ring"....... I may not let Sue in on this post! :nono:

[Well you know with all those lovely ladies and a taco ring, how could you not have your mind in the gutter? :rolleyes:
Speaking of the Gutter...... anybody near a grocery store or liquor store; please pick up some Margarita Salt! I used the last entire case we had left over from Cheapie's BD party to thaw out The Gutter....... right after I told the BBFCM's Probie to remember to "shut the freakin' Closet Door" when it's getting cold outside. That last winter storm had a layer of ice spreading almost down here at the Sonoran Desert end of the gutter! :nonono:

HEY NOW! At least I finally got him house broken, but you may want to double check your shoes just in case and if you feel something squishy inside, it ain't peanut-gutter butter or gingerbread crumbs!:nono:

Just a side-bar, which thread had that infamous "Wabbit" and Duck" escapade that went on for many pages? We need to find that for Andy so he will see what we refer to when we type that.

But, I think I like his "Rabbit" situation better! :rolleyes:

And 65mistress..... you live in California! Over here on this side of the mighty Colorado River (2 yards wide and 18" deep), we have the Old Arizona Brewing Company; who's greatest claim to fame is their "Cave Creek Habanero Beer". Yes, a fresh uncooked Habanero is tossed in as the bottle is filled; then it sits for-effing- ever 'til some fool from out of state is convinced that he's nobody 'til he's drunk a 6-pack of this nasty-tasting stuff.

Personally, I remember the story of this fool at an Arizona Jaycee convention who was all liquored up at the Friday night party (Imagine that!) and tossed back half an 8 oz bottle of "Dave's Insanity" spicy sauce and washed it down with three shots of Sauza - just to prove to some dude from Nebraska that he (the Cornhusker) was a wimp if he was intimidated by "just a Habanero". :nonono:

Next morning, the Desert Dawg was locked in his hotel room, sitting on "the throne" with tears streaming down his face; and wanted to spend the rest of the day with an icepack in the seat of his pants.......

Or so I'm told; not actually having seen (or experienced) anything like that myself.....) :rolleyes:
