Mickey Thompson 315/35/17's

Well I went and ordered me some 315/35/17 Mickey Thompson et street drag radials. I hope to cut atleast some 1.7s. This is what I have been using at the track with my stock suspension.

Sumitomo's 315's with the biggest thread gaps you ever seen lol.

I wonder how much of an improvement it will be? How should I launch on them, and at what psi?

My buddy has those tires on his car, here's what his does.

17" Chrome Cobra Rims with stock suspension. They actually wrinkle. The car has run a bes tof 10.6 with 1.3 60' times, believe me, those Mickeys hook awesome. I just ordered a set for my stock 16" rims. You won't be dissappointed.

Thats good to hear 1.3 is amazing, was that the same size tire as I'm ordering? They just came out with the 315 this year.

He's got 17x9's out back, not 10.5's. He is using only 275's actually, not 315's. i thought he had 10.5's, i talked to him last night and found out they are just 275's.

I had the 275/40/17's and with a small burnout and 15psi I could drop the clutch at 4k and bog out of the hole on a 1.7 60'. THey hook amazing!!!!!!!!
