i had an 01 and had a similar problem, my car had the new pulleys but the older t45 transmission. as i was told by the guys at UPR, the problem is that Ford doesnt really know when they fully made the change. apparently they had some of the newer stuff on the production lines before they switched over, and they had some older stuff left after the switch... the best bet is a visual inspection of the parts you need and find a good reference source to identify them. good luck with your search.

11/00 and 12/00 would be considered an early 01. My 5/01 had all early parts on it...
