Well my gf is hunting for her first car and there is a 1993 white notch 4cyl 5spd for sale in town with blue int. She might be interested but my car is a 5.0 so i dont know much about the 2.3 setup. Are they good cars? Reliable? what should i look over on the car? I dont know how many miles but it has 2 dents and a cracked tail lense with new tires. How much are these worth?

Great cars, pretty dang reliable..aslong as its a 5speed and not an auto. Its pretty bullit proof.

Keep in mind in n/a form, its slow.

Really good cars. The motors are slow, but they are also very reliable. Most guys here are seeing between 23-30 mpg, so fuel economy is good.

2.3 Mustangs are reliable, my '90 has 156K on it and still runs fine even with a cracked head (although it has some kind of electrical gremlin I haven't been able to chase down). The 2.3 Stangs are nice in that they are very simple and easy to work on. Tons of room around the engine to do about anything you need to do.

They are reliable, like the guys say, just keep it in 2nd and 3rd longer when accelarating on freeway onramps and she'll be fine. For everyday driving, the 5-speed is quick enough.

Well there a 17 sec car stock but give it another 100 hp and its a 14 sec car, Iam content with that.

Another bonus is that a decent amount of parts from a 5.0 can be used on a 2.3
