Don't know banks personaly but yea I know jj jlp and all those guys...I use to work for amazon racing when the shop was in md... If JDM built the car that explains a lot of the cost.. There not cheap but they do great work...but yea I know a lot about lightnings and cobras

You guys are going to say I'm crazy, but I'd have just cut the stock hood and left it that way. That huge cowl serves no purpose if it still can't cover the motor, and I'd rather have a huge motor sticking through the hood than have a cowl any bigger than 4". Humongous cowl hoods FTL. I love the car, though.
That may be true....but we all know that when it comes to selling a car, the price of labour is never factored into the cost. You might as well throw all that out the window.
Why not just use have a custome base plate machined for the lower manifold that lines it up over the rear discharge side and add the Cobra rear exit blower? Issue solved.thats easier said then done.. the 03 cobra eaton has the intercooler feeding from the front where as the lightning one feeds from the back. easy solution would be a 2.3 whipple that has a rear exit that feeds to the side like the cobra eaton but bolts up to a lightning

id have to look at both blowers again... but off the top of my head its alot of custom work because of the length of the cobra blower hanging over the back of the coolent lines. like i said the 2.3 3.4 whipple and 2.6 and 2.8 KB rear exit blowers would be the easy route.
Easier and way more funntill the stock rods throw the towel in
