Finally, I've been waiting a month to get the SFC welded in. So I ask my friend who works at a Ford dealer to help me out

Starting on my car, the Cobra(friends) was supposed to be next for SFC.

Welding

Little gussets welded to seat bracket

He was kind enough to prime, paint and undercoat my car

It took around 6 hours to do because he's never done this ever, he works at the bodyshop, and he wanted to take his time and do it right. It took so long, my friends couldn't get his Cobra done tonight.

Results: Much less noise now and feels more responsive. I'll know more once I get a chance to test it harder

Looks good. I was very happy when I got the MM FL subframes and strut tower braces installed on my '92 coupe. One of the best mods so far.

If you do (T/A, that is), you'll need new rear springs (don't forget).

Are those the powder coated SFCs? If so did you grind off the powder coating prior to welding????

Yes, they are the powdercoated ones. We had to grind it off to weld it.

I love my MM FL subframes.. its kinda funny, that alot of people say that do a phat difference and some people say that its not night and day.

Just remeber everyone is different. No matter what, its still a good a** mod...
