Got the car at the shop yesterday. It's a 6cyl, but it's free. So work begins monday to tear it out and put in the right motor and bellhousing. Get a radiator, and order parts. Hopefully the reall work will begin in less than two weeks. Just for S&G's I gotta get a pic of the bucket.

your first mockup should be a single turbo with a/c and p/s on a 302 in a 67/68 :D
I've already looked into how I'm gonna do that one. BUT, from what I can tell righ tnow, it won't be as performance oriented, and will cost more than these kits. And it doesn't seem far to make that kit standard. We'll how things progress, then on to the odd ball stuff.:p

did someone ask for pics...?

Ok, had some fun today putting in the motor with a forklift. Highly recomended against this if you ever think about it. ;) So I have some good news and some bad news. Not terrible news. But Drakstojo would be damn happy. I want to keep the headers low, so th plugs are easy to get to. But then I run into the the problem. I run them down and go under the pan(horrible ground clearance), or make everyone get rid of their sway bar(not gonna happen). That's gonna knock out autocrossers, and most cars now adays that are lowered. Pauls design isn't completely out the door yet. But worried about heat and the hood. And plug access. I can solve it all, but material will be another 50-70 dollars. BUT, it will knock out so many birds with one stone. Such as all the problems mentioned above, AND hopefully (looks like it will at this point)clear AC and P/S. I would only have to make one jig for a ton of apps. So I'm ovbiously leaning this way hard.

my plug access is a breeze, no problems at all. i haven't noticed any problems with hood either. there's alot of distance between the x-over and the hood.
Gonna cross breed here a little with yours I think. May go another way than originally thought. But so far, we have AC, P/S AND swaybar.
