Alright guys winter came a little early for me my clutch is just about done. I'm not going to put another clutch in that T-45 because it will break the trans with my type of driving.

I'm planning on gettin a dual friction center force with X2cmotorsports beefed up T600 trans. I like the T600 because of the gear ratios. First gear is a 2.87<something like that> it is better than my 3.27 1st gear ratio on my t-45. What do you guys think of that set up right there? Does anyone have this set up for their stang? Going to be selling my T-45 letting everyone know heads up. Price i'm guess with all the hardware is about $2600. Anything cheaper out there for this set up?

I'm going to build up my 8.8. What internals you guys think i should go with? I was thinking about a moser 31 spline, <present>373 gear, and eaton electronic locker/limited slip diff. What am i looking to pay for this? I think $1300 sounds right?

Porting, what am i looking to pay for a port job on the 4v heads, and intake? Who should do it? I was thinking about foxlake for the porting. At the same time i was thinking of gettin cams for the 4v too. What cams will give me the best power for 4v and still pass emissions? Go cams for n/a on spray, maybe a blower later.
How much for the port job along? I know the cams are going to be about $1280 with tax.

Just curious why you want the 2.87 first gear? Do you have some severe traction problems? Otherwise, it sounds like a good winter project to me.

When i'm racing i get about 10 feet out of first gear. When i take off slowly out the hole and then floor it, it seems like i need to swift already.

My friend has the T600 in his stang and i love the way it feels. The gears are so much longer. I know gettin a trans with a 2.87 1st i'm losing torque but being able to stay in gear longer it will make up the lose in torque.

Yea i thought about this project this whole summer. I have emission now so as soon as i take it and if it passes i'm starting. So most likely in sept.<If the weather is really crapy>

If he's talking about the TKO 600, then here is some info, albeit from a Chebby site:
