the h- will be louder, but the x will make more power. i have heard of a few people doing it. but it doesnt sound anyting like the 2.5" h-pipes. they still sound muffled and for the work u would do to makeu might as well as get an off-road h from a manufacturer. mac has them for only about 120 or so and u can even find them used.
