i have a 2004 gt. here are plans for future mods as far as engine goes. i have mac flowpaths, mac prochamber off road h pipe, mil eliminators, removed air silencer. future: fipk, accufab tb, accufab plenum, 4.10,s. full length headers, comp cam, power chip, nos maybe later. i guess this is really my decision. if i keep saving money it i will have like 40 to 50k on my car. i don't wanna get this stuff done when my car is high mileage and has lost hp maybe. do i wait or get a loan and do everything now. any suggestions.

I would say hold off on the headers, cams, chip, and nos for right now. Take care of the intake stuff first, but don't forget about the MAF, especially if you plan on doing the NOS. Go for the intake stuff, and then get some gears. Your speedo will be a little off, but you'll fix that later when you get the chip. These engines will last to 150K if maintained properly, so hold off the expensive stuff for now. When you do change your cams, you'll probably need some stronger springs if you wait till the 50K mark. I myself am not a fan of NOS; the stock plastic intake has cracked on too many guys' cars. Remember, than when you get an aggresive cam setup, and headers, you'll probably need a tune, so that's a cost to keep in mind. You'll really feel the fipk, accufab tb, accufab plenum, 4.10,s, especially since your exhaust seems to be very efficient right now. Good luck and let us know what you end up doing.

i was planning on the intake next and some 4.10's. as soon as i get it done i think i am going for the full lengths then everything else. yeah im not real sure bout nos. thanks for the info.

No problem. My reasoning with nitrous is that our engines were not designed for their use. They were in fact desinged to accept increased breathing capacities, but keep in mind that your engine isn't going to like going from 3K to 5K almost instantly under that type of pressure for very long. Your car is going to be a beast when you're done with it though.
