If you say so. Put 2k in suspension on a stock looking GT, and try selling it, and see how much more anyone's willing to pay.

I agree. They aren't going to pay more regardless of the mods. I would never buy a modded car.

What if they had receipts for all the mods and they were all installed by Tim at MPH, less than 500 miles ago -selling at an unreal loss and you had just hit the lottery.....never say never (I'm yanking your chain, Jim, all of my english teachers were always very interesting people)

I'm not an English teacher. How many of your English teacher could afford this hobby?

Maybe I'm weird, but if I see a car with mods on it already I shy away from it. Me and my dad install everything on my car, so I know how and who does it and what kinda quality job is done. But I can't say that about buying a pre-modded car.

I agree, when I look for a car, I want it to be COMPLETELY stock. But I don't agree with the remark about all muscle cars being driven hard. My car was owned by a middle-aged man who only averaged about 6000 miles per year on it, and just drove it for the image. BUT thats exactly the type of owner I'm looking for when i shop for a muscle car.

Maybe that was 24,000 trips down the 1/4 mile.

before I sell my car I will take the SC and intercooler off of it and return the engine bay to 'stock' looking. I kept all the oem parts I took off of it.

think about the market for this 'used' car. lots of people buy used mustangs... but the majority are weary of mods. I would not buy a 03/04 Cobra that had an aftermarket pulley/tune installed.

that being said its been a long time since I've seen a 2001 up GT/Cobra without any mods (including stuipd tail lights)
